So, this is NOT what I wore today. It is, however, what I wore a few days ago when I went out on a photo shoot with my friend and fellow photographer Jennie Raff . I hadn't thought at all about what I would be wearing, but the day before our photo shoot, I saw Elaine post photos of her hair into a cute bow . I really wanted to do it too, but couldn't find ANYTHING to wear with it. So I went for über Asian cutie, as seen above. Our photo shoot was at ICAR, the same place I went with my friend Jaclyn . The architecture is so cool and we were able to get some awesome shots! This dress, by the way, was my going-away dress from my wedding day ! :) Heels: F21 Dress: TJMaxx Earrings: no idea... This year, our Easter dinner was Guamanian style. I knew that meant we could arrive late and also there would probably be Spam. Well, I don't know whether we were late or not, because there wasn't exactly a set start time. Also, no spam. But that was okay with me. I decided to go tropical for this year's Easter dress. Well, actually, I don't typically buy a new dress every Easter. But I saw this dress and I had to have it. Also, my hair looked GREAT on Sunday. I wore my heels (as seen here ) to church, but afterward I changed into a pair of much more comfortable wedges as you can see in the above photos. It didn't really matter what shoes I wore, since you can't see them at all when I wear that dress. Even in my highest of heels, it just barely sweeps the ground. I don't have a good picture of the wedges, but that's okay. They're not that great. I only wear them when you can't really see them. Easter dinner was super casual. We j

ince a few of you asked for better photos of my shoes from last's So Much Pretty post , I took some photos to share with you. I love love these shoes since they 1) are sexy and 2) make me taller. And, speaking of shoes, here is my newest pair. I had a similar pair last year that I wore to Bangladesh and all summer long until they fell apart. One thing I love so much about these shoes is that the colors remind me of Bangladesh. :)

wrote this post 5 years ago today. Five years ago. Oh and I so clearly remember the wonderful deliciousness of that new love! The distress it caused me to not know and then the euphoria I felt every time I was given the slightest hint that he might actually like me back! Like when we were sitting on the couch so close. It was a small couch, but he could have forced himself a few inches away so there was no contact. But he didn't, and I swear I felt electric shock! It was wonderful and sweet to realize he liked me back. Or when he said I love you for the first time, the second time around. Those moments, my heart literally hurt because the blood was coursing through so fast. Those moments are nice and I am so glad I have those memories. But even more than those giddy memories, I am glad I have him. I feel so blessed that God has gifted me such an amazing man to spend my life with! I'm grateful for the roller coaster story that God took us on. Without all that mess

Today, after pilates, I decided to shove aside my yoga pants, think about what I was going to wear, and have a So Much Pretty day. I've been all paint-stained jeans and last-years flip-flops these days. Let's start this post with how I started my outfit. With my hair. YES! My hair is long enough do to this hairstyle. As long as I have a LOT of bobby pins--which I always do. I don't know that I've worn my hair like this since high school, so I really am lovin' it. I basically I made a dutch braid on either side, wrapped them around, and pinned to my hearts content. Then I added a flower clip (made by Stargirl !) to finish it off. But it looks pretty messy in this picture, so how about the otherside... Even prettier! Earrings were made by me. This is the first time I've done a complicated braid to my own hair and I'm pretty pleased with the results. fter reading Stargirl's blog post which looks all all the Aprils past, I wanted to do the same. I'm jealous that she can go all the way back to 2002 because she's always had that blog. I had an OpenDiary in 2002. I've also had a LiveJournal, a MySpace blog, and other Blogger blogs. None of those blogs are active anymore. Most of them were deleted. I'm bummed that I did that, because I wish I could read what I was doing back then.
