Essential guidelines for planner newbies

[ source ] 1. Don't plan to plan more than you actually plan .  2. Don't plan more than you actually live.   There is a plethora of planner accessories at the craft store. Aisles and aisles of gorgeous planning temptation! There are so many blogs with instructions on how to plan. It doesn't take much time or effort to drown in all the planner porn on Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Some people overanalyze their weekly spread, they fear imperfection, and never utilize their gorgeous and hard earned planner. Just start planning and figure it out as you go along. It might not always look so perfect, but neither is life!

therapy

[ source ] I went to my first therapy appointment today. I'm in a relatively good mood, so I wasn't even sure what we were going to talk about. Turns out, all my issues are sitting just below the surface. I feel like we dredged up so much in just an hour. It left me feeling pretty emotionally drained and a bit on edge the rest of the day. I'm hopeful that future appointments will help me work through all of this stuff so I can be free of it.

renaissance

[ source ] Since I've last posted here, I've played around with a few other blogs most of which have been deleted. (My ello is still live.) But I recently remembered my old OpenDiary and my old LiveJournal. I wish I could still read over those old posts, no matter how cringeworthy they most definitely are. They are still full of little pieces of me and it would be nice to have have them. Anyway. I decided to stop trying to start over and just come back here. Despite the cringeworthy old posts.
