Home again!

I had a week without Internet which was good because a gal can be pretty productive when there are no blogs to read and no Facebook to check. This means that, yes, I think I'm finally catching up on my school work. :) This week I have a few presentations to give, a few group project meetings to attend (I hate group work) and a few papers to finish. Next week I have a few exams to pass. After that, I have big plans: thank you notes, wedding scrapbook, and cleaning the apartment top to bottom. As for right now, I've got to get to bed. I've spent the whole day in the car and it's time to rest up for work tomorrow.

2 mrs. k's

Just had a wedding reception up in Michigan yesterday. This picture is of me & Racki. She's married to Mike's cousin and one of my favorite new relatives. (via Holly) And, yes, she's another member of Mike's family that makes me feel very short. ;)

the one in which stargirl rationalizes her LIES

Me : What? You lied to me? Stargirl : Nooo. I embellished! It's kind of like bedazzling your jeans. Whatever. I still won that game of scrabble.

Dear Forever 21, I love your fashionable-yet-cheap clothes. Stargirl has 3 different Forever 21 stores at her disposal (in the Charlotte area) and I have none. We need you in Greenville, South Carolina. Please. That is all.

again with the kittens!

It seems that in my apartment complex, nothing attracts a stray cat quite like drawn curtains. I decided to let some light in, and not five minutes later there are four cats staring at me! photo found on flickr

scary videos

You know what I really hate? Those videos that are all concentrate on this quiet video and then at the end a scary thing pops out with a ridiculous scream. You know what I'm talking about. I hate those. I hate it when I am tricked into watching one of those and I freak out. I mean, I'm pretty easily scared. I thought that once I started living with a strong manly man, I would cease to be scared in my own house. I was wrong. I hate those videos. They are not funny. If you need an example, check out this post. Yes, it's a local pastor's blog. No, I'm not condemning anyone because most people aren't scaredy-cats like me. In fact, people think those are FUNNY. I like to be a little scared, like ghost walks and stuff like that. But that kind of in your face screeching kind of scary...ugh. No thank you.
