So Much Pretty: blue and white all over

Yesterday, Anne Marie came over for a lunch that never happened (details in following blog), and she kindly photographed my outfit so I could finally do another So Much Pretty post. This is my first time belting over my belly. And, in fact, this is my first time wearing the belt that came with the dress. I usually wear it with a brown belt, but when belting over the belly, the tie belt actually looks cute and not terrible. I pretty much love this outfit. The dress was a total score from the BN outlet for, like, $15 or $20. I also really love the shoes. I think I found them at Ross, but saw them at all the off-price retailers this spring. I didn't even know Aerosoles made cute shoes! Kate Spade necklace | Banana Republic dress | Aerosoles sandals I love my baby bump in this photo. The camera must make it look rounder, because half the time when I walk past a mirror and check myself out, I think that I don't look pregnant, just heavier. Then again, I don'...

Birthday Video & Happy Birthday Mary

So, I recently learned that my little camera does this really cool thing where it takes a little bit of video with each picture you take. I remember reading about that feature when I first got the camera, but didn't really understand what that meant. Now I think it's the best feature of my little camera! Also, since Stargirl left Facebook, I have a few things for her...

so much pretty: summertime

So, this shirt is super cute. Don't ask me where I got it, because I've got no idea. But I love it. It's cute and perfect for summer. Why is it perfect? It's got teeny straps and it's blousy. Perfect. These photos were taken by Tanya Waller, a budding photographer in Columbia, SC. She used to live in  Greenville and I know her from swing dancing. Well, we ran into each other at a photography workshop a few months ago! And, more recently, she asked if she could come up to Greenville and practice photography with me. So, sometimes I played model. And, happily, got these photos! If you follow both my blogs, you might recognize this place. It's ICAR! Wow, I sure do love taking photos there. :) Clearly, I'm a bit camera shy... shirt: um, it's old; jeans: mossimo; shoes: marshalls.  All photos © Tanya Waller.

so much pretty: asian poses

So, last weekend was the first ever Greenville Lindy Exchange! These photos are from after the Saturday afternoon dance. I wish I had photos from all the dances, because I looked downright HOT at the Friday night dance. My girlfriends couldn't stop cat calling me. Oh yeah. I actually really love the lighting of this photo and may possibly take people to this spot if I'm ever doing a photo session downtown. It's all natural light, people. Standing in front of a gigantic window on a sunny day FTW. Of COURSE, I had to get jumping photos. What sort of person would I be if I didn't, eh? T-shirt: Rue 21. I have this shirt in pink & gray and I love it. It's perfect for summer. Long enough that I can bend down & pick up the kiddos without anyone seeing my bum. Thin enough to help me survive playing outside in the summer. And it's cute and flattering. Shorts: from my sister. from wal-mart. that's about all I know... Socks: Xhilira...

so much pretty: photography date

Today, I went out with my friend Jaclyn to a location I've been wanting to check out for a while: the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, or CU-ICAR for short. It's a mouthful, I know. Credit to all these photos goes to my friend Jaclyn . :)   We started out on the campus where there were some really cool buildings. I do not have any photos of these buildings, but I'm sure you are all skilled in the art of googling. Anyway, I really hope to go back there soon to have a photo shoot :)  Afterward, we went out into a wooded area on the campus and took quite a few photos. As always, I loved having someone take my photo. I took off my glasses for a few of these shots. They can be annoying to take photos of sometimes. Here's a tip: put the arms of your glasses a little higher up so the glasses are tilting down a bit. That will get rid of the glare (like in the first picture).   I've really got to say. This cardigan an...

31 photos in 31 days: 14

Yeah, I know. I've missed a few days. But I'm making up for it today by posting lots of photos! We're celebrating our 1-year anniversary! Can you believe it's already been a year? To dinner tonight, I wore the same adorable dress and shoes that I wore at our rehearsal and dinner . After the dinner, I still had lots to do and was pretty stressed. I'd like to call out the wonderful Anne Marie , for being there for me that night. And being patient even thought I was probably not much fun to be with. Anyway, on to lots of pictures of me and HerrKuech. I love him!

This photo is part of my wedding redux photography. Basically, I'm taking the wedding photos that I never got. I actually went out today with my friend Jennie and took some bridals. It was so much fun to be in my wedding dress again! I felt like a princess!

photoblog recap

I know not everyone can make it over to my photoblog, so I thought I'd start giving you a weekly recap! (Clicking on each photo will take you to the original post. Sunday, I posted this photo of a friend's engagement ring. Monday, I changed the layout of my blog so I could post more than one photo at a time. Then, I included the rest of the photos from the shoot that included Sunday's picture. Had a lot of fun taking pictures of Ron & Prudence who are getting married soon. Tuesday, I posted a lot of photos from my parents' house, a.k.a. the Heuser family farm. Thursday, I posted photos from a wedding I went to last week. I know Bonnie from church and swing dancing. And, since she and Jason met swing dancing, they were kind enough to invite all of us dancers to the wedding to dance the night away. :) Most of the photos, however, are not of the lindy hoppers, but of the newlyweds. Saturday night, I shot this photo while downtown with Caleb and Anne Ma...

Pre-occupied

Yes, I has seriously been ages since I've posted. And no, that's not an exaggeration at all. It's been over a week and it FEELS like ages. So, let me fill you in on what I've been preoccupied with... re-potty training Bella photography my photoblog (I've been cheating pretty heavily on you...I'm sorry!) people I'll start with the last one, shall I? Yes, people. I've been social lately. Lunch dates with family. Twilight party. Art show. Family dinners. 4th of July. And going to see Twilight. Instead of telling you all the boring details...I'll show you in pictures. Leo & Stargirl lunching at Handi, an Indian restaurant (with me, Mom, and Mike). Mom and Stargirl at my place. After which Stargirl and I rocked it out on Guitar Hero 5. Twilight party at Amanda's! We drank wine from the Twilight Ball and meant to watch the first two movies. But we ended up playing Twilight Scene It! instead. At Jessica Libor's art sho...
