WSPA-TV You all know Peggy and Joan, but what you may not know is that they are fugitive chickies. Always on the run from the law man. See, shortly after we got our chickies, we found out that it was illegal to have them. What?? Yes, true. If you live in the City of Greenville, you can have chickens. If you, however, live in Greenville County and are zoned residential, you are not allowed to have them! We're trying to change that policy. Tuesday morning, a TV news reporter and cameraman showed up on our front porch (they couldn't have called first?) and interviewed Mike and took some great footage of Peggy and Joan. There is footage of other chickies, but when you see two girls without any fencing and a blue coop?  That's us.  Be on the lookout for Bella! I took Bella to get groomed at PetSmart yesterday and before paying, I wandered through the clearance section of dog clothes. I ended up getting her the only piece of clothing that I was pretty sure she would hate: pink bunny booties. Worth it? Definitely. If you want some booties for your dog, PetSmart currently has the yellow duck , green turtle , and black cat booties on clearance on their website. New blazer! I avoided blazers for so long, but I think I'm in love! They're like cardigans except with more structure...and I wear a cardigan just about every other day. I am particularly in love with my new floral blazer (bringing my closets blazer count to 2.) I had seen a similar blazer that I looked longingly at but never purchased. It was had an indigo background and long sleeves...both of which were turning me off. Well, I was shopping with my Mom at Dillard's when I came across this blazer. The black background makes this one so much more versatile. And I love the ruched sleeves. I bought it but was still on the fence about it. So what did I do? I went home and took off the tags so I couldn't return it! Its rather bold...at least for me. So, I stayed home most of the day my first time wearing it. Just to, you know, get the feel. So, I recently learned that my little camera does this really cool thing where it takes a little bit of video with each picture you take. I remember reading about that feature when I first got the camera, but didn't really understand what that meant. Now I think it's the best feature of my little camera! Also, since Stargirl left Facebook, I have a few things for her...

Woohoo! Guess who got the Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox ! I was super excited to be picked for a second VoxBox from Influenster . And, actually, I'm pretty thrilled about everything that came in the box! I did a first impressions video just to show you what was inside. Some other recipients got a few things that I didn't get, but I can't complain! Influenster  does not pay me to leave reviews. I do not pay them to get a box of goodies. Just got my first ever VoxBox today. Pretty excited about trying all this stuff! Influenster is basically an online program where they send you free samples (or even full-size products!) to try out and review. I didn't pay any money to join and I'm not being paid any money to write this review. So, anyways, it's pretty cool. If you aren't a member yet, go to influenster.com to join. I'm not required to say that, but I still think you should. I mean, who doesn't want free stuff? There are badges that you can get to qualify for different boxes. I got the "Dog Lover" badge, so fingers crossed for a doggie voxbox one of these days! I'll be posting reviews as I try out these products, so be on the lookout for those!

So, I forgot to post anything Sunday or Monday. Oops. My brother's wedding was on Saturday and, as the photographer, it was a wonderful but very long day for me. Sunday, I spent my time yawning and church and playing picross (thanks for the suggestion, Stargirl. I'm an addict). Monday, it was back to my normal schedule. I forgot to take lunch to work, but luckily there are free snacks there. So, I snacked on a frappucino, cheetos, a banana, and starbursts. And now it's Tuesday. My day off. Insert blissful sigh here. Being busy really makes you grateful for the days you can sit at home on the couch again. Of course, while sitting on the couch I will be alternating between editing photos and folding laundry. Also, I'm very happy to be alone for almost the whole day. :) Oh, and Mike and I are going to see Les Miserables!

I was going to take outfit photos today, but I forgot. I had my cute floral tights, denim skirt, pink beaded cami, black cardi, and adorable black pumps with bows on them. Never thought I'd actually buy a pair of shoes with bows on them, but I love these. My co-workers commented on how cute I always dress. Maybe I'll wear my pjs to work one of these days just to see if anyone notices. Ha. Anyway, I did my hair up "twist and pin" style after I showered. I did that so it would curl during the day and I could wear it curly tomorrow. We'll see how it holds up through 'til morning, though...

Since I forgot to post a music video yesterday, I guess that makes this Music Tuesday. Anyway, saw the Muppets this weekend. Makes me want to watch reruns of the Muppet Show and old Muppet movies. When you're done with that, check out the Muppets' version of Bohemian Rhapsody .

So, I don't have photos for you today, though, really, I probably should. I LOVE the top I'm wearing. It's nothing special, but it's new and its pink. Talk about winning. My hair also looks fabulous today and I want to share with you the tutorial I used to first learn how to do this hairstyle. Also, I love Loepsie's channel . She is adorable! I've done my hair like this a few times so far, and I know you've seen it at least once . I love doing my hair like this because it's pretty easy (once you get the hang of it) and so much pretty. Also, it keeps my hair off the back of my neck. And two less pretty reasons: it keeps my hair off my inevitably sweaty neck (thank you, summer) and its great for those days that your hair is too greasy to wear down but you really would like to go another day before washing it. I love love love this song. I love the lyrics, love the instruments, the vocals, and how it makes me all swoony. Anyway, I'll be missing my hubby this week while I'm off at Twinfest and he's home bonding with the dog. Also, if you're a fan of Love Actually like I am, you should watch this version instead.
