The Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog

Since I forgot to post a music video yesterday, I guess that makes this Music Tuesday. Anyway, saw the Muppets this weekend. Makes me want to watch reruns of the Muppet Show and old Muppet movies. When you're done with that, check out the Muppets' version of Bohemian Rhapsody .

music monday: love is all around by toby lightman

I know I was going to post another Christmas song today, but this song popped up on my iPod today (genuis mixes are the best!) and I just had to share it. This was the last song played at my wedding. It's called "Love is All Around" and I wanted everyone to dance with us so we could be surrounded by the people we loved. :)
Love Is All Around by Toby Lightman
The look in his eyes Tells me, just how I oughta look at the world So innocent, so easy to print on the face of paper doll While holding his hand Shows me, fair skin, now I know what’s really happening With all of the trees, and all of their leaves, they’ll never look the same again Cause I, I know that Love is all around The dream on his face Let’s me know the stars glow...

music monday: Come On! Let's Boogey to the Elf Dance! by Sufjan Stevens

Blah blah blah, it's too soon. WHATEVER. This is one my favorite Christmas songs (on one of my favorite Christmas albums) and I'm already listening to Christmas music. I love Christmas music, it makes me happy! It's nonsense that you can only listen to it for one month.

music monday: God only knows by the beach boys

I love love love this song. I love the lyrics, love the instruments, the vocals, and how it makes me all swoony. Anyway, I'll be missing my hubby this week while I'm off at Twinfest and he's home bonding with the dog. Also, if you're a fan of Love Actually like I am, you should watch this version instead.

music monday: still alive

Portal 2 came out last week. I've never played Portal 2. Or Portal for that matter. But I LOVE this song. Augh! This is retrospectively posted on Thursday. I totally forgot about it on Monday!

Eisley

Mike and I were on our way home from our church small group, when we passed this sign. I may have squealed, I'm not sure. I was like, "Eisley! Eisley is at the handlebar! Right. now." And he was like, "Are you sure? THE Eisley?" And so, we turned around. Yes, it was Eisley. THE Eisley . The band I fell in love with a few years ago. And, happily, we do not usually use all, or even much of, our entertainment budget, so we had the spare change to go to the show! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me. Or even my point-and-shoot. All I had was my phone with the REALLY crappy camera. I never much cared about the quality of my camera phone because I have a real camera. I cared on Wednesday night. I was downright painful taking pictures with my phone. Though, the music was so wonderful, that I didn't care that much. Even though I haven't really kept up with Eisley in a while, I knew at least half of the songs they played! I guess they'v...
