34 weeks

Every week, I basically feel like, "Augh! XX weeks? How did we get here?" I cannot believe I get to meet my little baby in, hopefully, a month and a half.
  • We had our last Bradley Class! I'm SO glad that we took that class. It's one thing to read a book and read aloud random excerpts to Mike, but it's HUSBAND-coached childbirth and I'm SO glad we were able to sit down and learn from Mary. If you're in the Upstate and interested in natural childbirth, I highly recommend checking her out!
  • I had a fabulous maternity shoot and I am so excited to see the results. :)
  • In the less than fabulous....
    • Thanks to my good ol' pubic bone pain, I am full on waddling at home. I try really really hard to walk like a normal person out in public though. Not sure if its convincing at all, though.
    • Rolling over in bed makes me feel like this.
  • We are in full on baby prep!
    • We bought a travel system.
    • I've washed, folded, and put away a bunch of baby clothes & blankets.
    • I also may or may not have practiced swaddling Curious George. While he was wearing a baby hat. (I need help.)
    • We've hired a doula.
    • We had our hospital "tour." This, actually, felt like a total waste of time because we mostly sat there and watched a video that is available to watch online. And I had already seen it!
  • TJ Maxx baby haul:
    • Dough & Melissa puzzle. Mike liked it because there is a dog chasing a squirrel (like Bella).
    • Little newborn sleep & play with a monkey on the butt. I seriously love those kind of outfits and I didn't have any yet.
    • An ErgoBaby organic carrier for $70. Sooo excited to find that!
  • Baby is doing great. Lots of movement and a strong heartbeat. He's taking up my internal organ space which can be a bit uncomfortable at times.
  • Still wearing a mix of maternity & non-maternity tops. That's a non-maternity top in the photo, as I'm sure you can tell. I've worn it a few times already and it goes back to its original shape after I wash it, thank goodness. :)

  1. Looking beautiful! I laughed out loud at the turtle gif. Also, I will totally be that person swaddling anything I can for practice, so definitely no judgment here :-)
